I’m at Woodcliff Studios working on tracks for an upcoming Boneshakers project.

The Texacali Horns, Darrell Leonard (Trumpet) and Joe Sublett (Sax) are here doing their soul band magic on two tracks. Frank Rosato’s at the board. I know it has been a long time coming but now’s the time. I will keep you informed here.

I’m flying out for a busy week playing with Dave Koz but, then on May 16 Randy Jacobs’ Dynamite will be performing at the Hyatt Regency Jazz Festival on the second stage 2pm and 6pm. Jon, JV, Shilts and Sergio Gonzales will be by my side as we kick things up a notch. I’ll also be doing double duty as I will play with Dave Koz on main stage at 4pm. Say hello if you see me.

Doing the funk with Mindi Abair and Brian Simpson in Tucson AZ at the JW Marriot Starr Pass Resort. I always enjoy working with these two separately but the two them performing together will even be more fun for sure. See ya!

The Return of Randy Dynamite is now available via iTunes and CD Baby.
It was truly a soul releasing experience to work with Jon Gilutin, Gregg Bisonette, Lenny Castro, JV Collier, Shilts , Jimmy Roberts, Rick Braun and Bill Bergman.
It is the CD that I have been dreaming of since high school. Some funk, blues, a little rock a dash of jazz it is a mirror to my mind. Get it today!

I am winging my way to London with Dave Koz and Brian Simpson to
perform at Pizza Express live across the UK. I love London having spent much time there during the Was (Not Was) success in the slate 80’s and early 90’s. Check out sky.fm, the Show Dates page or davekoz.com for more info.

I’m in NYC to do the Emeril Show with Dave Koz and the Kozmo’s.I’m coming off the bench to help out while Jeff Golub does a few shows with Guitars and Saxes. I get to do four episodes working with a great band. Philippe Saisse, Conrad Korsch, Skoota Warner and of course Dave Koz. Plus, I’m going to back up Sammy Hagar and Bo Bice!! Catch it on the ION Channel.

It was a great show last night at the Cordiale.
Thanks to all who attended the first Randy Dynamite show. I appreciate the CD sales too. Jon, Gregg, JV and Shilts worked their magic and a good time was had by all. More to come.
