Well, If you had told a year ago that I would part of a release with not only my old band mate Sweetpea Atkinson but my very good friend Mindi Abair I might not have believed it. A sit in with the Boneshakers by Mindi last year at the Hyatt Newport Festival turned into a full on tour and a new CD. Make sure you all check it out via Pledge Music.

If you haven’t seen this joining yet you are missing out. After another standing ovation performance last night at the Jazz on the Vine Fest at Lake Elkhart, Wisconsin, the band (Mindi Abair, Randy Jacobs, Sweetpea Atkinson, Derek Frank, Third Richardson, and sitting in for (keyboard master Rodney Lee) David Yaden are looking forward to upcoming shows on the west coast.
